Welcome to Paints Canvass. I’m thrilled you’re here — because I have so much I want to share with you. I’m here to make a life out of what I love, and what I love is Painting. I am passionate about PaintsCanvas, and I truly believe that passion is relayed back to my readers through the innovative and exciting content that I post.

Useful Tips for All Artists:

Master the perfect brush stroke technique while working on Acrylics.
Acrylics are fast drying paints that can be used straight from a tube, like oil paints, or can be thinned with water, like watercolour. They are extremely versatile and vibrant, offering the artist a wide range of textures, colours and consistencies. Because they basically dry into a plastic surface, they are ideal for using in multimedia painting as well.

John Garfitt - Print Resolution Enhancement and Royalty Reduction

The image size and resolution upgrade of all my images on has been completed as of 10-December-2017 and all print royalty prices have been substantially reduced.

All files have been increased in size and resolution to the maximum allowed on FineArtAmerica. All images can now be printed significantly larger than the originals without loss of detail or quality.

I hope you find these improvements useful. I want to make my art accessible and affordable. I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions and of course, Likes and Sharing are always appreciated.

Happy Holidays
John Garfitt
